InformixMag launches a Cheetah section

Durham, NC, USA, February 14, 2007 – InformixMag, the leading place for Informix information on the web has announced today its new “Cheetah” section.

“IBM has just announced the Open Beta program for IDS Cheetah, we are proud to open a dedicated Cheetah area where users will find additional information” admits James Peterson, InformixMag editor, “we will combine unique content with links to all available content, we will publish a step-by-step installation guide for Cheetah on Microsoft Windows in the next couple of days to start with”.

IBM Informix announced IDS Cheetah a few months ago and brings new features to this rock-solid, blazing OLTP data server. A lot of the new features have not been announced yet and as they become public, InformixMag will relay them in the Cheetah section.

InformixMag has been created recently after the regain of interest around the Informix technology. Numerous famous Informix partners including Kazer, Quest Information Systems and MoreData are already supporting the initiative.
