DESCRIPTION

Rite Aid Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Informix DBA with Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience. The primary role will be to support Informix 9X databases on AIX running six of our distribution centers from our corporate headquarters Central Pennsylvania. Secondary responsibilities will be to help support one of Microsoft's largest install bases of SQL Server. This fast paced role is a highly visible and rewarding one where exposure to new technology and a variety of configurations call for an experienced and confident candidate. The ability to be a team player and function in a large database team is mandatory.

The upcoming acquisition of the Brooks and Eckerd brand will bring our store base to over 5,000 stores. As our company grows, so too will our database environment. With over 30 terabyte under management, Rite Aid's database team supports DB2 Z/OS V8, UDB LUW V8, Oracle 10G, Informix and Microsoft SQL Server.
