I realise this is a sensitive and emotive subject, but I thought I would share my perspective on this: 1. IBM has an Academic Initiative that offers all these things for all IBM's technology. There is also a specific Information Management Academic Initiative Program. All the DB2 on Campus website does is to package that for DB2 specifically. And it does just seem to be DB2 that is doing this. I couldn't, for example, find a "Tivoli on Campus" website. And the DB2 on Campus program is not only staffed by IBMers.
