Informix developer positions - 2007/08/12 09:03
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of customized applications using Informix 4GL in a Unix environment and for the requirement specification preparation, running, test scripts, debugging and verification of coding methodology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
* Designs, develops, and maintains applications for the client's in-house database.
* Fixes existing programming 'bugs' in the clients in-house system.
* Makes changes to the system in order to enhance or extend, as needed.
* Designs and creates new screen forms, menus, program modules, and reports.
* Writes data conversion programs as needed.
* Must have knowledge of HPUX and AIX. Must have current Informix 4GL experience.
Computer Skills: * 3+ years experience in a Programming Discipline
* Informix 4GL
* Informix SQL
* Informix ESQL
* Must be proficient in all general Microsoft Office programs.
* Must have the ability to work with in-house database.
