At this time there are 82 Web-Based Training (WBT) Courses available for you to take to sharpen your skills on IBM Information Management (IM) products and technologies.  Eighty-two is a LOT of courses!  More are being created and being updated, so if this is the way you like to learn, make sure you stay in touch with all the latest as they are released.

IBM's Education is known for its high quality content and excellent instructors.  Although with WBT courses you won't be in a classroom environment, you'll get the same quality of content that you expect.  WBT courses allow you to learn at your own pace and on your schedule with training that is completely self-contained from your desktop. Most courses provide introductory and overview training that serves as the foundation for more technical and follow-on training. Courses include expert instruction but do not include hands-on labs.

How do you get there?

  • Access this site to see all course offering types:  http://www.ibm.com/software/data/education/elearning.html.
  • Under the Web Based section, click on "Browse the complete Information Management WBT portfolio".
  • I've included the 82 courses that I know of right now and have put the newest ones at the top of the list.
  • If you're an IBM employee, contact me offline as there is a different procedure that must be used to take these classes.
